The Holidays

We had so much fun over the holiday season! We visited the Thrashes in MI for Thanksgiving and we hosted Christmas for the first time ever at our house. Will had an absolute blast, got plenty of spoiling, and Bill and I couldn't possibly feel luckier to have the family that we do.

The birth of my niece, Adilynn, kicked things off to an exciting start! She was born 11/21 to my little brother and his gf, Raine. She's the perfect addition to our family.

Enjoying the Thanksgiving feast!

We had a chance to meet up with my Uncles Tim (left) and Chris (right). It was so great to be with them and catch up. They live in the same town as Bill's family so it's awesome we can see everyone in one visit.

Will was an elf for our Christmas cards this year.

Back at home we took Will to see the Trains at Northpark. So neat, for kids big and small :-)

Will met McGruff and let's just say he's a fan. I literally had to pry him off!

Carolyn, my sister, came to Texas to meet baby Adilynn for the first time.

Carolyn brought her youngest, Marin, 7 mo's. Aunt Raine meets baby Marin for the first time.

Grandma snuggling baby Adilynn

Baby Marin has to be the most jovial little baby I have ever met. Every where she goes people have to stop and talk to her b/c she's the smiliest, sweetest little soul.

Gimme that baby!

Cousins Will, Marin and Adilynn (notice Will and Marin are almost the same size!) Yes, he's little, but yes, she's big!

So these are the people and the moments that really make life precious. I read this great quote that said something like, I used to think Christmas was best made for children, until I had my own. Spot on! We experienced the magic of Christmas through Will's eyes and it's just a beautiful thing.

Now onward through 2015! The year is already off to a great (and busy) start. Next week we celebrate Will's turning two. I just can't even....
